Where It Began

In 2018, while researching the daily habits of Nobel laureates for her doctoral work at Trinity College Dublin, Dr. Eleanor Fitzpatrick noticed something that would change her life and eventually, the lives of hundreds of clients.

Nearly every scientist and writer whose routine she documented shared one striking pattern: they fiercely protected their morning hours. Not as an afterthought or productivity hack, but as the non-negotiable foundation of their life's work.

Darwin walked at precisely the same time each morning. Woolf wrote in absolute silence before breakfast. Marie Curie arrived at her laboratory before dawn, completing her most demanding experiments while colleagues still slept.

From Research to Practice

What began as academic curiosity evolved into something more practical. Friends and colleagues, learning of her research, began asking for advice. Could she help them design mornings that supported their creative and professional goals?

The results were remarkable. A struggling novelist completed her manuscript in four months. A tech executive reclaimed three hours daily for strategic work. A postdoctoral researcher published twice as many papers as the previous year.

These were not exceptional individuals with unusual discipline. They were ordinary people who learned to structure their mornings with intention and scientific precision.

In 2021, myricqueer was established to bring these frameworks to a wider audience. Today, we work with writers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals across Ireland and beyond, helping them build morning routines that endure.

Our Approach

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all morning routines. The 5 AM wake-up that serves one person may undermine another. The journaling practice that unlocks creativity for a novelist may feel tedious to an engineer.

Our programmes begin with assessment: understanding your chronotype, your work demands, your creative rhythms, and your existing habits. From this foundation, we design morning architectures that align with your unique biology and goals.

Every recommendation we make is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We draw from chronobiology, behavioural psychology, and decades of documented evidence about how high performers structure their time.

But science alone is not enough. We provide the accountability and support structures that transform good intentions into lasting habits. Our clients succeed not because they have more willpower, but because they have systems designed to make success inevitable.
